FAQ

Q) How many appointments can I have scheduled at once?

A) You can have two appointments scheduled at any one time. Once you attend your appointment you can book another.

Q) Can I request a specific team member?

A) Yes, you can book with any of our team subject to standard availability.

Q) What if I need to cancel an appointment?

A) Our standard cancellation policy applies. If you need to cancel an appointment please give us 24 hours notice to avoid being charged the full list price to your registered card on file.

Q) How do I pay?

A) Your payment will be processed by monthly Direct Debit via Go Cardless on or around the 28th of each month.

Q) How do I sign up?

A) Due to the limited number of people we can accept onto our membership clubs we can only accept members who are a previous salon client. To apply for membership for this year please apply here. We will be in touch to let you know if we have accepted your membership and to set up your Direct Debit and to confirm your first payment date.

Q) How long does my membership last?

A) Membership contracts run on a 12 month rotation.

Q) Can I cancel my membership?

A) Your membership is a 12 month contract. You may cancel at any time by giving us 30 days notice and paying the full value of any services received minus the membership fee. (see cancellation terms) 

Q) What about Lockdown?

A) In the event of national or local lockdown which prevents the salon from opening we will immediately freeze your membership payments whilst we are closed. Any membership days remaining that you couldn't use will be available to use when we reopen. Membership fees on reopening will be calculated on a pro rata basis for the first payment to include any remaining days. e.g. Salon closes March 21st and Reopens July 4th, no payments will be made during this time.

When you return to salon in July we will initially apply the remaining 10 days membership to your account, the 4 days of July we couldn't open will also be deducted from the July payment along with the credited days leaving 8 days membership to pay pro rata, this can be paid via debit/credit card, cash.

Your next payment will resume as normal July 28th to cover August. In the event that no payment would be due in July due to having more days remaining than there is available in the month, the remaining days will credit forward to the next month and your direct debit payment will be lower to include the credited days.

The boring stuff.....

We have to make you fully aware of our terms and conditions so you can make an informed decision and decide the most appropriate membership option for you. Membership is not mandatory for any salon guest, none members will continue to pay our standard list prices. If you have any queries relating to our terms and conditions please contact a member of the management team. 

By joining a monthly payment membership club you are agreeing to the terms of this membership agreement.

Your All-Inclusive membership benefits are not transferable to any other person. Attempting to book services on behalf of someone else will bring this agreement to an immediate end.

Payments are due monthly and will be collected by Direct Debit from GoCardless on or close to the 28th of each calendar month.  You agree to maintain a direct debit instruction with your bank for the amount due. Please do not cancel your Direct Debit instruction without contacting us first. (Your bank statements will have GoCardless with Aspire Hairdressing NE as reference)

Memberships are paid monthly in advance. Example. You apply and set up the direct debit on the 28th of May. Your actual memberships begins on the 1st June.

The membership agreement is of 12 months’

Membership is only open to those who have been customers of Aspire Hairdressing (NE) Limited for a minimum of 3 months

If your Bank fails to make a direct debit payment from your account when due we will write or email to advise you of this. An administration fee of £20 will be charged for each failed direct debit payment.

If you cancel your Direct Debit instruction without giving us notice of cancellation (see “Cancellation policy”) or making a new Direct Debit instruction an administration fee of £20 will be charged for each failed direct debit payment. You agree that we may use your Direct Debit mandate to recover any outstanding amounts

You will in these circumstances have the option to instead cancel your membership in line with the terms of this agreement under the heading cancelation

You may cancel your membership without giving any reason within 14 days of membership.  This allows time for you to ensure you have made a sound decision about the membership. If you have had the benefit of any services in the first 14 days you must pay the difference between your monthly membership payment and the total tariff or list price of the services.

Failure to attend an appointment or not cancel within the cancellation policy will result in the full cost of service being charged to your card, if this payment fails you give us permission under these terms and conditions to retrieve the amount owed via your direct debit instruction.

We may send you information relating to your membership and current offers and promotions by email, Messenger, SMS or by post

 

Terms and Conditions

If you decide you do not agree with the terms and conditions, please cancel your direct debit instruction BEFORE your first payment is taken.

Terms

1. ‘The Company’ is Aspire Hairdressing (NE) LTD, also referred to in the agreement as ‘Aspire’, ‘the salon’, ‘we’ and ‘us’.

2. If you have purchased a club membership for yourself, you are referred to in the agreement as ‘you’ or ‘the member’.

3. If you have purchased club membership as a gift, terms relating to

payment are applicable to the purchaser. Terms relating to membership and services are applicable to the member who is referred to as ‘you’ or ‘the member’.

 

General

1. This Agreement is governed by the law of England. You should print a copy of this Agreement for future reference and a copy will be emailed to you following purchase.

2. The membership agreement is of 12 months duration (subject to terms under the heading “Cancellation”).

3. If any of the terms of this Agreement are invalid, unenforceable or illegal the remaining terms can still be enforced.

4. We may make reasonable changes to the Membership Agreement terms and conditions at any time.

5. We will send to you email confirmation of these terms using the email address you used when you joined.

6. Membership is open to all customers over the age of 18. You must have access to an email account and provide us with the email address.

7. The Monthly Payment Option is only open to those who have been customers of Aspire Hairdressing (NE) LTD for a minimum of 6 months.

8. The Company reserves the right to restrict the number of memberships available at each club level or across the whole membership programme without notice or explanation.

 9. Additional services and products not included with your membership will be charged at the current list price less any offered discount and do not form part of this agreement.

10. You may hold two appointment bookings in our diary at any one time.

 

Force Majeure

1. A Force Majeure Event is defined as an event beyond the reasonable control of Aspire. These could include but are not limited to industrial disputes (whether involving Aspire Hairdressing (NE) LTD or any other party), failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm or default of suppliers or subcontractors.

2. We shall not be liable to you as a result of any failure to perform our obligations under this agreement as a result of a Force Majeure Event.

 

Membership

1. Membership is not transferable and entitlement to inclusive services and products is restricted to the Member.

2. Attempting to book services on behalf of someone else will bring this agreement to an immediate end and a penalty of £100 becomes immediately payable.

 

Monthly payment

1. By purchasing the monthly payment option you are agreeing to the terms of this membership agreement. A copy of these terms will be emailed to you following your purchase.

2. Payments are due monthly and will be collected by Direct Debit on or close to the 28th of each calendar month. You agree to maintain a direct debit instruction with your bank for the amount due. Please do not cancel your Direct debit instruction without contacting us first.

5. If you fail to make an overdue payment within 14 days you agree that:

a) The full outstanding amount for your one-year membership shall be immediately due

b) We may use you Direct Debit mandate to recover the full outstanding amount You will in these circumstances have the option to instead cancel your membership in line with the terms of this agreement under the heading “Cancellation”.

 

6. Should the Company be obliged to engage legal proceedings against the Member arising from breach of the terms of this Membership Agreement, including but in no way limited to their failure to pay any amount due by the due date, the Member acknowledges that they shall be liable for all tracing fees, collection commission and legal costs as may be allowed by the Court.

7. The Company may disclose personal particulars contained in the Membership Agreement to a credit reference agency or any other party necessary in obtaining settlement of arrears.

8. Payments by instalments are due regardless of your salon usage. In the event of a payment default use of salon services will be denied until the shortfall has been made up.

 

Membership Cancellation

1. You may cancel your membership without giving any reason within 14 days of membership. This allows time for you to ensure you have made a sound decision about membership, and to allow the beneficiary of gift membership the opportunity to ensure they can and will agree to the terms of this membership agreement.

a) If you have had the benefit of any services or products in the first 14 days you must pay the difference between your monthly membership payment and the total tariff or list price of the products and services.

b) If you have had no products or service we will refund your first payment in full.

c) If you have had the benefit of products or services totalling an amount less than the amount of your first payment, we will refund the difference in the form of non-transferable vouchers valid against future service with an expiry date of 3 months following cancellation.

 

2. This is not a credit agreement and you may cancel your membership at any time during the 12-month period. You must give us a minimum of one months written notice to Aspire Membership Cancellations, 155 Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 4AG  or pay an administration fee of £50 in lieu of notice.

a) You must pay the difference between your monthly membership payments and the total tariff or list price of any products and services you have had the benefit of throughout the membership duration. We will include in this total any appointments you have failed to turn up for or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. We reserve the right to use your Direct Debit instruction to recover this amount.

 

b) If you have had the benefit of products or services totalling an amount less than the amount of your payments no refunds will be made.

3. We reserve the right to cancel your membership without notice or giving any reason. No refund will be made for past membership fees though we will refund the current month’s fee if you have not had the benefit of any service or products during the current month.

4. In case of dispute the onus is on you to show that you terminated membership in accordance with these terms.

 

Renewal

1. You will be contacted by email before the expiration of current membership, detailing the ruling rate at which membership can be renewed.  

Communications

1. We may send you information relating to your membership and current offers and promotions by email, SMS or by post

2. You may opt out of email and SMS communications that we may send but if you do we cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred by you not receiving relevant communications. Communications posted (either with or without proof of posting) will be assumed to be received. Emails will be assumed to be received and read.

3. You agree to tell us immediately of any changes to your personal details including contact information.

 

Complaints

1. You may complain to us by emailing aspire155hair@gmail.com using the email address that we hold for you. You should call us on 01642 941413 to confirm that we have received your email.

 

Levels of Membership

 1. Each level of membership carries a particular set of benefits. You should ensure that the level of membership you choose is appropriate for your needs.

2. We may, at our discretion, allow you to move to a higher level of membership, but membership cannot be downgraded to a lower level except at the renewal date.

3. Gel Club Membership at this level includes Two Gel Polish Express Manicures, One Gel Polish Express Pedicure, Three Gel Polish Soak Offs and unlimited Eyebrow Shapes per month (subject to terms under “Unlimited Eyebrow Shapes” below), a discount of 10% on any other salon services or product purchased throughout the duration of the membership term.

4. Blowdry Club Membership at this level includes One Weekly Blowdry with a Stylist or Senior Stylist of your choice (subject to availability) and unlimited Blowdrys with a Graduate Stylist (subject to terms under “Unlimited Blowdrys” below), a discount of 10% on any other salon services or product purchased throughout the duration of the membership term.

5. Hair Club Membership at this level includes One Weekly Blowdry with a Stylist or Senior Stylist of your choice (subject to availability) unlimited Blowdrys with a Graduate Stylist (subject to terms under “Unlimited Blowdrys” below), unlimited colour services (subject to terms under “Unlimited Colours” below), Unlimited Cuts (subject to terms under “Unlimited Cuts” below), Unlimited in salon System Professional conditioning treatments, a discount of 30% on any Wellaplex, Keratin Revolution or Extension Service, a discount of 25% on any other salon services and a 10% discount on any product purchased throughout the duration of the membership term. 1 monthly “friend pass” entitling your friend to a 50% discount off their services when they attend with you.

6. Beauty Club Membership at this level includes Unlimited Waxing, Unlimited Massage/Facial Treatments (subject to terms under “Unlimited Massage/Facials” below), Unlimited Lashes (subject to terms under “Unlimited Lashes” below), Unlimited manicure/pedicure/nail extension treatments (subject to terms under “Unlimited Nails” below), Unlimited spray tanning, Unlimited Brow Treatments (subject to terms under “Unlimited Eyebrow Shapes” below). A discount of 30% on any CACI Treatment, a discount of 25% on any other salon services and a 10% discount on any product purchased throughout the duration of the membership term. 1 monthly “friend pass” entitling your friend to a 50% discount off their services when they attend with you.

 

7. Club Aspire Membership at this levels includes all the benefits and terms of Hair Club Level and Beauty Club with an enhanced discount level of 20% Discount on all home care

50% Discount on CACI Treatments, Keratin Revolution, HD Brow Treatments Wellaplex & Extension Fitting. 3 monthly “friend passes” entitling your friend to a 50% discount off their services when they attend with you.

 

 

Unlimited Eyebrow Shapes

1. Purchase of membership entitles you to unlimited brow shapes throughout the duration of the agreement.

2. brow shapes are subject to normal salon availability.

3. Though the number of brow shapes are unlimited, we would view having more than one in a two week period as excessive and unreasonable. If you need to exceed this, please discuss your requirements with us ahead of purchasing membership.

Unlimited Blowdrys

1. Purchase of membership entitles you to unlimited blowdrys during the membership agreement.

2. Blowdrys are subject to normal salon availability.

3. Though the number of blowdrys are unlimited, we would view having more than one blowdry in a day as excessive and unreasonable.

 

Unlimited Colours

1. Purchase of membership entitles you to unlimited hair colours during the membership period.

2. Colours are subject to normal salon availability.

3. Colour Strips and Corrective Colours are not included as part of the membership.

4. Though the number of colours are unlimited, we reserve the right to refuse service if we feel it is a) unnecessary, b) potentially damaging to your hair or scalp condition or c) against manufacturers instructions, accepted industry practice or the terms of our liability insurance.

 

Unlimited Cuts

1. Purchase of membership entitles you to unlimited hair cuts during membership agreement.

2. Hair cuts are subject to normal salon availability.

3. Though the number of hair cuts are unlimited, we would view having more than one hair cut in a two week period as excessive and unreasonable.

 

Unlimited Lashes

1. Purchase of membership entitles you to eyelash appointments and infills during the membership agreement.

2. Appointments are subject to normal salon availability.

3. Though the number of lash appointments are unlimited, we would view having more than one new set in a three month period or more than one infill in a two week period as excessive and unreasonable. If you need to exceed this, we will schedule you in for a mini infill. Please discuss your requirements with your lash lady ahead of purchasing membership.

 

4. Infills are appropriate when there are at least 50% of the lashes still on

5.We reserve the right to refuse service if we feel it is potentially damaging to your lashes

Unlimited Massage/Facials

1. Purchase of membership entitles you to massage and facial treatments thoughout the membership agreement.

2. Appointments are subject to normal salon availability.

3. Though the number of Massage/Facials are unlimited, we would view having more than one in a 7 day period as excessive and unreasonable as your skin and muscles need time to heal and repair between treatments.

4. Prescriptive facial excludes take home skincare collection when booked as part of membership club.

 

Unlimited Nails

1. Purchase of membership entitles you to unlimited nail treatments throughout the membership.

2. Appointments are subject to normal salon availability:

3. Though the number of nail treatments are unlimited, we would view having more than one gel application per week as excessive and unreasonable. If you need to exceed this please speak to us prior to purchasing membership.

4. With Acrylic/I.Nail enhancements we recommend infills between new sets. Though the number of sets are unlimited we would view more than one new set every 6 weeks as excessive and unreasonable.

6.We reserve the right to refuse service if we feel it is potentially damaging to your nails.
